There have been over 30 US or world tours announced by K-Pop acts in 2022… and only 5 of those decided to stop in South Florida.
We get it. You don’t think there’s a big enough K-Pop scene here just yet. Maybe you’d rather pluck your eyes out than be on a tour bus for 9 hours straight and STILL in the same state (trust us, we know).
But please hear us out. We have done our research and have gathered 8 reasons why you – yes, you, beautiful K-Pop idol, KHipHop rapper, Korean artist/indie performer – may want to give South Florida a chance.
Listen here and follow the list below:
- Jump-off to Latam: Miami makes perfect sense as the last stop in the US before the Latin American leg of tour.
- Beautiful beaches: Hollywood beach, Fort Lauderdale beach, Dania beach, and of course, the infamous Miami beach. Stay away from 7th and Ocean though (or don’t, do whatever you want as long as you come).
- Amazing weather: If you ignore the mosquitos, hurricanes, and 90% humidity. Please, ignore it. We do. We don’t have winter storms, and you don’t have to worry about performing outdoors in freezing temperatures. While everyone is hiding at home from January-April elsewhere, we’re living it up here because the weather is JUST RIGHT!
- Beautiful people: We’re being superficial but you have a literal role called “visual” in your industry so let’s not play the pot calling the kettle black games here. Everyone is beautiful #superficial.
- Lit audiences: Miami energy is typically unmatched. We’re HERE for the artist, we know all the lyrics, and we’ll scream them at you. We’re sorry in advance for not sticking to the fanchant routine, but we just FEEL your music in its entirety.
- We live where you vacation: It’s a popular saying we have (which even became a state-level marketing campaign), and you know cliches exist because they’re true. People will travel here GLADLY for a concert and easily make a fun trip of it. Itineraries are scared of the possibilities here in South Florida.
- Venues: Size doesn’t matter. Whether you want a smaller club, a hall, a theater, an auditorium, an amphitheater, an arena, open festival space, or a stadium – we have them all.
- Peachy dreams come true: If you’ve been known to sing that all you want for your birthday is a big booty hoe, you can find yours right here. Whether organic homegrown on rice and beans or with some surgical tweaks, we don’t judge and we got them all. You might need some extra massages or chiropractor visits to fix your neck after coming here, but it will all have been worth it.
