Aca-scuse me?!
You heard us!
Celebrating our heritage as Hispanic/Latin people comes in many forms. For us as K-Pop lovers, we celebrate and honor the fact that South Korean idol groups have made the effort to cater to Hispanic/Latin fans.
Singing in a different language is quite the challenge, and Korean and Spanish are nowhere near each other on the phonetics or pronunciation. We would know. For artists to train repeatedly until perfecting a song (to the best of their ability) is a feat, and we really appreciate their hard work to make us feel seen and connect with us as Spanish speakers more deeply.
To bring us all together in this celebration, we put together two playlists (with very little overlap) for your enjoyment, whether you prefer to just listen or to have the accompanying visuals. In these playlists you will find songs that:
- Are sung in Spanish completely
- Have Spanish in the title and or lyrics
- Are in partnership with Hispanic/Latin artists

We don’t know about you, but we simply can’t get over a lot of these performances! In good K-Pop fashion, a lot of the idols added choreography to the performance and… just HOW do they keep track of the words, the intonation/inflections AND choreo too?
Too. Much. Sauce.
Pure, raw talent from all of these greats! And once again, we just want to thank them for the nod to Hispanic/Latin fans.
What was your favorite or most surprising moment from this list? Will the playlist be on replay all weekend long for you? We sure hope so ::finger heart::
